Hi, I’m Jessica. My husband, kids and I live near Seattle, Washington. My husband and I both work at Tableau Software, and our boys (born in 2009 and 2013) are currently in first grade and preschool.

I grew up in Montana, picking up degrees in journalism and computer science from rival universities before making my way to the Pacific Northwest.  One thing I miss about living in Montana is the swing of the seasons, the  warm summers, and the snowy winters.  I’m not a big-city girl, but I do love all the fun things I can do with my family here.

My life shifts between work stuff and family stuff.  These days it’s hard to give either of them the attention I’d like, and even harder to find time to exercise my creative energies.  But I do what I can.
